ACT Holdings companies have a proud tradition of community service and charitable fundraising. Our companies have contributed supplies and monetary donations to worthy causes for decades. Our employees are passionate about charitable giving, often organizing fundraisers and personally making donations.
ACT’s founders, Dale and Debbie Van Dellen, established the Account Control Technology Foundation (ACT Foundation) in 2013 to build financial literacy, support education, fund vital charities and provide community support. The ACT Foundation exists not only to support education but also to ensure that students enter the workforce on solid financial footing. The stated mission of the Foundation is to: “improve the future of students and the greater community by offering financial literacy and debt management education, mentorship and support to those in need.”
Each year, the ACT Foundation distributes $25,000 in higher education scholarships through two programs: One for graduating high school seniors entering four-year colleges or universities; and one for second-year students continuing their enrollment at four-year colleges and universities. In addition, the ACT Foundation often matches the fundraising activities of ACT Holdings companies, supporting such organizations as Susan G. Komen for the Cure, American Cancer Society, Red Cross, Arbor Day Foundation, community food banks and more.
